Tony Cragg, born in Liverpool in 1949, is a pioneering contemporary sculptor known for his innovative use of found objects and materials, which gained him international acclaim, including the prestigious Turner Prize in 1988. Throughout his career, he has continuously evolved his art, experimenting with a variety of materials and exhibiting globally, while also serving as a professor and obtaining German citizenship post-Brexit.
