Juan Asensio, born in Cuenca in 1959, began his career with anatomy studies and portraits before transitioning to abstract art influenced by Oteiza and Brancusi at the Museum of Abstract Art in Cuenca. After moving to Madrid in 1987, he developed a unique style blending geometric and organic forms, earning prestigious awards and showcasing his work in prominent galleries and collections globally.
